For the benefit of members and alumni, the DLS operates a mailing list through the university’s listserv system
To subscribe, send mail to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.UGA.EDU with the following information in the message:
SUBSCRIBE DEMSOC-L “<Your Name>”
You may also subscribe to the mailing list’s digest version (which sends you a day’s worth of messages all in a single email, to cut down on traffic to your email account). Once you are subscribed (using the command above), send another message to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.UGA.EDU with this command in the text area:
SET DEMSOC-L DIGEST
You must send this command from the email account that you wish to receive the mailing list from. Please respect the members of the list by not transmitting attachments or using HTML-formatted messages.
To leave the mailing list, send the following command to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.UGA.EDU, NOT the DEMSOC-L address!
UNSCRIBE DEMSOC-L
