Benefactors and Friends
As a society that votes on its membership (rather than a club which allows anyone who wishes to join), the Demosthenian Literary Society does not receive money from Student Activities or any other part of the university. The society must support itself by donations, typically from alumni of the society, and from member dues.
If you wish to donate to the society, please contact the webmaster, who will forward your query on to the current treasurer. You may also donate directly to the society’s foundation accounts through the UGA Foundation.
The DLS is a recognized as a non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.
